Scope of works: Oliver Connell & Son Ltd were appointed by MACE to carry out £6m of civils works to 7nr Terminal 3 aircraft stands from PQ breakout to service installation and reinstatement of all PQ concrete and joints. Oliver Connell & Son Ltd provided all the plant, labour, equipment and management to carry out the works in the airport environment. Logistics for these works were managed by Oliver Connell & Son Ltd inhouse logistics resource to ensure that the vehicles and drivers were compliant to operator in this environment.

Oliver Connell & Son Ltd were responsible for the location of services, generating and seeking approval for safe systems of work around services and worked with MACE to communicate with the service owners to conduct the work in a safe manner, without interrupting airport operations.
