Scope of works:
Oliver Connell & Son have been appointed as Principle Contractor by the Arora Group for the design and construction of an £18 million state of the art Hotel with a double story basement in the Royal Borough of Windsor.
As part of the tendering procedure, OCS carried our detailed pre-construction studies and value engineering proposals for the client, saving both time and money in the construction of the hotel.
The basement, constructed completely below the ground water table, was in excess of 8000m2. Serviced by a placing boom and 2 tower cranes, strategically positioned to service the site, we utilised our own in-house peri falsework to form the ballroom roof structure. 26m concrete beams spanning the ballroom were among many of the value engineered solutions provided by OCS.
