Scope of works:
OCS have been appointed by a blue-chip developer to construct a mixed use development on the sea front. The single story basement is formed using cantilever sheet piles and water proof concrete liner wall. The carpark podium slab is circa 6500m2 slab cast on our own in-house falsework to provide a smooth finish soffit. All of the elements within the basement are formed to a high standard of concrete finishes.

 

Project Constraints & Build sequence

As the project is located on the south coast OCS have spent some time sourcing the right suppliers to achieve our quality control criteria and achieve plain smooth finishes to in-situ concrete, using quarried sand, sourced locally.

 

OCS along with our supply chain have reviewed the optimum method for casting the radius balconies that will ‘wrap the superstructure’ to compliment the architects design intent. This project is currently in its infancy and has a ‘fast track programme’ to allow the client to release the already 50% sold lots of the development.
